Bonjour, zdrahstvuyteh, guten tag, balay, konichiwa, hola, hello and welcome to my website. Thanks for stopping by and visiting the official Alastair Surprise website. Not that there are other websites dedicated to me...yet, ha ha. Anyway, here you can see my full portfolio, resume, demo reel, and get some fun factoids about me. You can also check out up to date information on what's going on with me.

Happy 2009 to all, happy birthday to me and happy ground hog's day! That's right it's February and I have been slacking in updating my own website (actually my webmaster Steve was out of the country for a month so I blame him, hehe). Hope you were able to view "Internet Porn in 1994" on Comedy Central's Atom TV, it aired on my birthday February 2 at 2:30am west coast time. I know, kinda late, so next time set your DVR. And what will be airing next time you ask, well "Living The Dream" 1 and 2! That's right as a 3 time winner (of 3 submissions mind you) thus far of the Atom.com Showdown, Self-Made Monkeys has been walloping the competition. LTD 1 & 2 airdates on Comedy Central's Atom TV to come soon. Stay tuned!

Bill continues to make the rounds and if you're interested in catching a screening, check it out at one of these fine festivals. I'll update this as the year goes on since the circuit is now in full swing. Germany? Anyone, anyone?

  • LA Comedy Shorts Film Festival - Los Angeles, CA - March 5-8, 2009
Sunday March 8, 12 pm, Downtown Independent Theatre, 251 S. Main Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012 Tickets are $10 and can be purchased here http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/55676
  • Verzaubert International Queer Film Festival - Munich, Germany - March 18 - 25, 2009.

Currently I'm producing (Supervising Story Producer to be exact) the series Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood for NBC/U for Oxygen Network. The show is in it's 4th season and looks to be very interesting, fun and relatable. Last year's ratings were incredible, nabbing the highest ever for the network. Hopefully we can knock it out of the park again, check it out when it begins airing in June sometime.

Growing Up

Big pimpin'! Don't be fooled puke green was in that year. Come on, I was 5 years old, how did I know that leisure suits wouldn't stay in style? As for the hair, I had a feeling that no bangs would be big in the 80's. Damn I had some serious foresight.

1984, another number, another summer, sounds of the funky drummer. Yes, this one was taken in 1984 and I was hot for teacher. I should've been hot for dentist. Look at those teeth, yikes! I was Baba-booey, before Gary from the Howard Stern show. But I sure had a twinkle in my eye right? The sweater, well, just a little scary. As for the hair, I was testing out the possibilities of the comb over.
